Job Description

We're on the lookout for a qualified Mental Health Counselor to provide compassionate care and support to individuals dealing with mental health issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various therapeutic methods and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Engage clients in therapeutic activities to improve mental wellness.
  • Document and analyze client interactions to assess effectiveness of treatments.
  • Provide referrals to additional mental health resources when necessary.
  • Encourage clients to express themselves in a safe environment.
  • Implement feedback from clinical supervision into practice.
  • Collaborate with community resources for holistic care.
  • Facilitate support groups for individuals with similar mental health challenges.
  • Teach coping mechanisms and stress management techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Mental Health, Counseling, or a related field
  • Clinical licensure preferred, not mandatory but advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
