Printing Sign Machine Operator

Job Description

The Printing Sign Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing machines to create high-quality signs and graphics. This role requires technical skills in printing technology and the ability to ensure consistent quality in production.

Responsibilities

• Set up printing machines for production runs.
• Adjust settings for optimal printing quality.
• Conduct quality checks of the printed output.
• Troubleshoot machine faults and undertake repairs where necessary.
• Coordinate with the quality control team.
• Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance.
• Conduct pre-production meetings to discuss job specifications.
• Train junior operators in safe machine handling practices.
• Assist in inventory management of printing materials.
• Maintain knowledge of current printing technologies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in printing or graphic design is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in printing or graphic design

Technical Skills

• Vinyl cutting software

• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent
