Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, from procurement to logistics, ensuring optimized performance and cost effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations.
• Implement technology solutions that improve supply chain visibility.
• Provide training and development to supply chain staff.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies within the supply chain.
• Prepare and manage supply chain budgets.
• Drive sustainability initiatives throughout the supply chain process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting standards.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics fields

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM)
