Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Software Developer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies and be eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Assure that all software are bug free and secure.
• Debug, test, and deploy applications.
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders to enhance system capabilities.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to their growth.
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to the architectural decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Computer Science is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on full-stack development

Technical Skills

• Node.js
• Django

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Hands-on experience working in Agile development teams.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker): Understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker.
