Job Description

We are on the hunt for a skilled Jointer to join our electrical team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in connecting and maintaining electrical cables, ensuring a safe and reliable power supply across various projects.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical cables and power lines.
• Conduct inspections and report on cable conditions.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams.
• Participate in emergency response for electrical faults.
• Advise on necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure quality assurance practices are adhered to.
• Actively engage in continuous learning and safety training.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience working with high voltage electricity networks.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Safety Regulations
• Use of Jointing Tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Trade Test Certificate in Electrical Installations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with renewable energy systems: Knowledge of and experience with solar or wind energy systems.
• Experience with project management: Experience leading teams and managing projects will be beneficial.
