Responsibilities

• Evaluate prescriptions for clarity and potential allergies.
• Advise patients on over-the-counter medications.
• Provide support and training to pharmacy staff.
• Investigate medication discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement pharmacy protocols to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in retail pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Inventory Management
• Controlled Substances Management

• Interpersonal Skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• CPD Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience conducting Health Workshops: Ability to lead health workshops for community education.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Proficiency in both languages to better serve the community.
