Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our supply chain operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics planning, inventory management, and transportation coordination, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete shipment lifecycle from order placement to delivery.
• Track shipments and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Analyze transportation costs and optimize routes for efficiency.
• Implement technology solutions to improve logistics operations.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers.
• Monitor service levels and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Conduct performance reviews of transportation providers.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
