Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee our logistics operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient supply chain processes, coordinating shipments, and liaising with suppliers and clients. You will play a key role in optimizing our logistics strategies and improving overall service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate logistics operations to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor deliveries and address any issues that arise with shipments.
• Work closely with freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Conduct regular audits of logistics processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Train and mentor junior logistics staff in operational procedures.
• Manage logistics software systems for tracking and reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination or management

• Supply Chain Optimization

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
