Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heat Treating Equipment Setter and Operator to oversee fire safety systems. This role involves routine inspections, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate fire detection and alarm systems.
• Identify and rectify malfunctions in fire suppression equipment promptly.
• Assess fire incidents and determine appropriate response strategies.
• Coordinate regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Educate employees on fire safety and emergency response procedures.
• Prepare and submit incident reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance fire safety skills and knowledge.
• Manage inventory of fire safety equipment and ensure proper storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop fire safety strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Advanced Fire Safety Certification is an advantage

Experience

• Experience in conducting fire safety audits and inspections is preferred.
