Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling costs for construction projects from inception through to completion. You will collaborate closely with the project team, ensuring budgets are adhered to while identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Monitor project costs to prevent overspending.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents and contract proposals.
  • Evaluate project requirements and identify material, time, and costs.
  • Consult on procurement methods and evaluation of bids.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports related to project costs.
  • Engage in discussions with stakeholders to align on project objectives.
  • Supervise the payment procedures for contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure that projects comply with statutory and environmental regulations.
  • Serve as a key resource for team members on cost-related inquiries.

Requirements

Education
  • BTech in Quantity Surveying or relevant qualification
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in construction cost management
