Responsibilities

• Lead structural assessment and rehabilitation of existing buildings.
• Contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with geotechnical engineers on site conditions and materials.
• Conduct project site meetings with clients and contractors.
• Ensure timely completion of engineering tasks on various projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in structural design

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Concrete and Steel Design

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• PMP Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in project collaboration software: Familiarity with tools such as BIM 360 or Trimble Connect.
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards: Understanding of South African construction regulations.
