We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our dedicated team in George. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and engineering principles. The role involves assessing projects for environmental impact, designing eco-friendly solutions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental site assessments and audits.
• Design and recommend sustainable solutions for projects.
• Coordinate with various project teams to integrate environmental considerations.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards.
• Prepare and submit compliance documentation.
• Conduct training for staff on environmental policies.
• Engage with the community to promote sustainability efforts.
• Prepare environmental impact reports for stakeholders.
• Develop action plans to reduce pollution and waste.
• Monitor ongoing projects for environmental compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in the environmental field

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
