Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing therapeutic support to clients needing mental health assistance. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations and help them navigate their mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' mental health needs through interviews and psychometric tests.
  • Formulate therapeutic interventions that target specific psychological conditions.
  • Provide family therapy and support to enhance client engagement and compliance.
  • Document treatment processes and outcomes thoroughly to ensure professional integrity.
  • Encourage the involvement of family and support systems in recovery processes.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
  • Assist in developing clinic policies and procedures related to client care.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff members or interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Postgraduate training in clinical practice is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred.
