Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our finance team in East London. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoices, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. An understanding of bookkeeping software is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
  • Handle payment processing and ensure timely collections.
  • Assist in budget preparation and allocation.
  • Conduct periodic audits of financial data for accuracy.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and compliance policies.
  • Liaise with external financial institutions and auditors.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department.
  • Train junior staff and assist in onboarding processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Accounting or Finance
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
