Job Description

We are seeking a committed Public Health Administrator to manage and oversee health promotion initiatives in the Cape Town community. You will work closely with public health officials and other stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement health education programs.
  • Conduct research on public health trends and practices.
  • Support grant writing and funding proposals for health initiatives.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of health interventions.
  • Build partnerships with local organizations to enhance health services.
  • Work with teams to develop public health policies.
  • Provide expert advice on public health issues to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between the community and healthcare providers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health or healthcare administration
