Job Description

The Crew Mess Attendant is a vital role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the crew mess on board our ships. This position involves closely working with the kitchen staff to ensure crew members are provided with high-quality meals and a pleasant dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep the crew mess tidy and organized at all times.
• Support kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals efficiently.
• Verify that food items are correctly stored and labeled.
• Check inventory levels and inform when supplies are running low.
• Handle crew meal requests and ensure satisfaction.
• Deliver exceptional service in line with our hospitality standards.
• Follow strict food safety guidelines at all times.
• Communicate any maintenance needs in the crew mess to the Kitchen Manager.
• Contribute to a positive team environment with a focus on collaboration.
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma is preferred

Experience

• Experience on board a ship is a plus
