We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cloud solutions that enhance our operational capabilities and drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and a strong understanding of various cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud solutions that scale according to business needs.
• Use monitoring tools to ensure high availability of cloud services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Research and integrate emerging technologies to improve cloud capabilities.
• Conduct training sessions to educate teams on cloud services.
• Coordinate with vendors to manage resources and support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant field
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience managing cloud services

Languages

• English: Fluent
