We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cloud solutions that enhance our operational capabilities and drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and a strong understanding of various cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Build operational processes for cloud infrastructure management.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to enhance the deployment process.
• Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of cloud systems.
• Support migrations to cloud-based solutions while minimizing downtime.
• Document cloud architectures and processes for team continuity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant field
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience managing cloud services

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring tools: Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
