We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards through meticulous testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Run manual and automated tests on new and existing software to ensure quality.
• Enhance test cases based on findings and new requirements.
• Report on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate on the product development lifecycle to ensure quality from inception.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss testing strategies and improvements.
• Provide mentorship to junior QA team members.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or related role

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Security Testing: Exposure to security testing practices is a bonus.
