We are seeking a dedicated Research Scientist with a background in life sciences to join our innovative team in Nelspruit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to cutting-edge research in the biotech and pharmaceuticals sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects from conception through execution.
• Develop and optimize analytical methodologies.
• Interpret research data to inform product development.
• Present research findings at scientific meetings and conferences.
• Assist in training junior research staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Biochemistry or Biotechnology
• Postdoctoral experience is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in research and development

• Clinical Trial Management
• Bioinformatics Tools

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Quality Management
• Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA)

• English: Fluent

• Skills in Grant Writing: Ability to write compelling grant proposals for research funding.
