Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel in Durban. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality guest experiences, managing staff, and optimizing operational efficiency within the hotel management sector.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a positive work environment for staff.
• Evaluate guest feedback and implement changes to enhance service.
• Oversee inventory management and procurement processes.
• Create and manage hotel policies and procedures.
• Plan and execute promotional strategies to enhance hotel visibility.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure communication and updates.
• Participate in community events and represent the hotel at public functions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Management related field
• MBA is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in hotel operations

Certifications

• Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA)
• First Aid Certification

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
