Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting the IT infrastructure of our organization. This role is crucial for ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support daily operations of IT systems.
• Help manage network infrastructure and monitor network performance.
• Assist in the implementation of IT policies and procedures.
• Provide support for mobile devices and remote access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Assist in maintaining data backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT services.
• Create user accounts and manage access permissions.
• Identify areas for improvement in IT processes.
• Keep up with emerging technologies for potential application.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Support or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support

• Linux OS

• ITIL Foundation Certification
