Public Health Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Public Health Specialist to engage in health research and community education initiatives. You will work directly with stakeholders to ensure health programs are responsive to the needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead public health outreach activities and health fairs.
• Evaluate community health resources and recommend improvements.
• Work with healthcare providers to enhance health service delivery.
• Facilitate training workshops for community health workers.
• Engage in cross-sector collaboration to address health determinants.
• Support grant-writing efforts for public health funding opportunities.
• Develop health promotion campaigns targeting specific populations.
• Coordinate data collection efforts for health surveillance.
• Conduct interviews and surveys to gather community health insights.
• Represent the organization at public health conferences and symposia.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Science, or Health Administration
• Master's degree in Public Health is highly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public health program management
