Job Description

The Induction Furnace Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining induction furnaces in a manufacturing environment, ensuring production targets are met effectively. The role demands a keen mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate induction furnaces, ensuring that production meets quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs of production and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings as necessary.
• Work closely with the production team to optimize workflow.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are strictly followed.
• Conduct checks on raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Participate in regular training and skill development sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Technical qualification in metallurgy or related field preferred

Experience

• Experience in a foundry environment is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
