Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our Cape Town location. In this role, you will provide expert advice on medications, oversee the dispensing process, and contribute to patient health education. Your ability to build rapport with patients and your attention to detail will ensure you thrive in our supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Advise patients on medication-related questions and concerns.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain licensure.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to enhance service delivery.
• Assist in developing pharmacy educational materials for patients.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in pharmacy operations.
• Contribute to inventory management and the ordering of pharmaceutical products.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a polite and friendly manner.
• Conduct health screenings and immunizations as required.
• Stay updated on new medications and changes in pharmacy law.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Additional certifications in clinical pharmacy are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
