We are seeking a passionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to be part of our vibrant team in Durban. Your responsibilities will include patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and education. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and contributing to ongoing medical research and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patient health conditions through diagnosis and treatment.
• Establish collaborative relationships with patients and families for optimal care.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement projects within the healthcare facility.
• Review and update clinical policies and procedures as needed.
• Assist in the training and development of junior nursing staff.
• Ensure engagement in research activities relating to patient care improvements.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Clinical Nurse Practitioner certification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of nursing experience with management experience preferred

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
