Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will focus on developing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving projects aimed at minimising environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate environmental conditions at project sites.
• Work on projects related to water resource management.
• Manage environmental consultancy projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct site inspections and field visits.
• Support clients in the development of sustainable practices.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of grant applications and proposals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Management are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
• GIS

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Certification
• Green Building Professional (GBP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
