Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at Healthcare Services Inc., you will be at the forefront of patient care in Port Elizabeth. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and document patient health information and treatment plans.
  • Deliver direct patient care, including wound care and IV therapy.
  • Act as a patient advocate in treatment discussions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
  • Assist in the triage of emergency cases and outpatient care.
  • Participate in shift handovers and team briefings.
  • Stay up to date with nursing best practices and new protocols.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new nursing staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in Nursing is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a hospital setting
