Job Description

Join our Pretoria team as a Legal Counsel, where you will handle a range of legal matters focused on protecting the organisation and its clients. From contract negotiations to legal research, your expertise will be vital in navigating legal challenges and providing sound legal advice.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on the legal implications of business decisions.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and clients.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Monitor compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure legal compliance.
  • Prepare reports on legal matters for management.
  • Assist in the development of company policies and procedures.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to maintain expertise.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
  • Master's degree in Law is advantageous
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
