Job Description

Join our Cape Town office as a Legal Counsel, where you will play a key role in offering strategic legal advice and guidance. This position involves contract negotiation, compliance checks, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and ensure sound decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organization's legal affairs and compliance programme.
• Ensure contracts reflect the interests of the company.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the business.
• Guide management on legal best practices and risk management.
• Support corporate transactions and strategic partnerships.
• Review marketing and promotional materials for legal compliance.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or related field
• Postgraduate degree or specialization is a plus

Experience

• Must have experience in corporate, commercial, and compliance legal matters.
