Job Description

The Beaming Machine Operator is a vital role in our textile manufacturing process. You will be responsible for setting up and operating beaming machines to ensure the smooth preparation of yarn for weaving, maintaining high-quality standards throughout.

Responsibilities

• Operate beaming machines for yarn winding, ensuring alignment and tension are correct.
• Conduct inspections to detect and rectify defects in yarn and equipment.
• Provide input on machine performance and suggest improvements.
• Maintain a tidy workspace and adhere to safety standards.
• Complete necessary documentation for production and maintenance activities.
• Support the training of junior operators and assist them in their tasks.
• Work effectively as part of a team to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance procedures to ensure machine longevity.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Relevant technical certification or diploma (advantageous)

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating beaming machines or similar machinery.
