Job Description

We are on the lookout for a compassionate Occupational Therapist who can work effectively with patients of all ages. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' daily living skills, thereby improving their quality of life. Your ability to communicate empathetically while conducting sessions will be crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ needs and establish specific therapeutic objectives.
  • Implement individual treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
  • Provide coaching for caregivers and family members in supporting client’s therapy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
  • Prepare reports on client progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Utilize technology and tools to enhance patient therapy and engagement.
  • Educate patients on home exercises and strategies to encourage independence.
  • Coordinate patient schedules and therapy logistics effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards in practice.
  • Engage clients in recreational activities that incorporate therapeutic goals.
