Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction projects including roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare reports on current conditions.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop effective designs.
• Manage project timelines and ensure that deliverables meet quality standards.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding project updates and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
• Contribute to project budgeting and resource allocation.
• Perform inspections and maintenance on site.
• Review and approve design proposals and tenders.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management

• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sustainable design practices: Knowledge of current trends in sustainable engineering solutions.
• Background in geotechnical or structural engineering: Experience in specific engineering disciplines including geotech or structural.
