We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Designer to join our Pretoria team. Candidates should have a strong background in mechanical engineering and be proficient in systems design to enhance our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop system designs ensuring scalability and quality output.
• Collaborate with project managers to align on timelines and deliverables.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes.
• Develop protocols for testing system effectiveness and reliability.
• Document design processes and revisions comprehensively.
• Train technical staff on new systems and processes.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to elevate operational standards.
• Collaborate with research and development teams to integrate new technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Professional Certification in Manufacturing Systems is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in systems design within a manufacturing context

• SolidWorks
