Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Mud Mixer ready to take on the responsibilities of mixing and preparing mud and other drilling fluids in accordance with specific guidelines. This role demands a keen attention to detail and experience in the drilling industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain drilling fluids per project specifications.
• Adjust the properties of mud in real-time during operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mud mixing equipment.
• Implement safety practices to prevent workplace accidents.
• Test and evaluate the quality of mixed mud.
• Collaborate with engineers and other staff to optimize drilling performance.
• Keep detailed records of mud preparations and adjustments.
• Troubleshoot any issues with mixing processes in a timely manner.
• Comply with waste management protocols in the disposal of unused fluids.
• Train new operators on the use of mud mixing equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in drilling fluids management is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
