Job Description

The Steel Work Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating steel fabrication and installation projects. They will ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in steel construction and experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple steel fabrication projects simultaneously.
  • Conduct safety briefings for all team members on-site.
  • Collaborate with engineers to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Evaluate project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of welding and cutting equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Implement best practices for quality management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and approve material requisitions and deliveries to the site.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement among team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Construction Management or similar qualification
Experience
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale steel work projects.
