Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Event Planner to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creating unforgettable events, whether it's weddings, corporate gatherings, or other special occasions. You'll be responsible for overseeing the entire event lifecycle, from concept development to execution and post-event analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of various events.
  • Regularly meet with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Create marketing material for event promotion.
  • Monitor event budgets and track expenditures.
  • Utilise event planning software for scheduling and organisation.
  • Evaluate and recommend venues based on client needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to branding and marketing guidelines.
  • Assist with event-related administrative tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Certifications in Wedding Planning or Corporate Events preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of event planning experience with a strong portfolio.
