We are looking for a skilled Pet Groomer to join our enthusiastic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in grooming various breeds of dogs and cats, ensuring that each pet leaves looking and feeling their best.

Responsibilities

• Execute grooming services with attention to detail and pet safety.
• Build rapport with clients and offer personalized service.
• Handle pets gently, especially those that may be anxious or nervous.
• Keep grooming area organized and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve skills.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certificate in pet grooming or similar

Experience

• 3+ years of professional grooming experience.

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Use

Certifications

• Professional Grooming Certification
• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Ability to train junior groomers: Experience in training and mentoring less experienced groomers is a plus.
