Job Description

As a Social Worker at Community Care Services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals and families facing various challenges. You will be responsible for providing counseling, conducting assessments, and implementing intervention strategies to promote well-being and resilience in the community.

Responsibilities

• Implement intervention strategies and provide ongoing support.
• Document client interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies.
• Assist in crisis intervention and management.
• Participate in community resource development initiatives.
• Educate clients and families about available resources and options.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops as needed.
• Network with local organizations to promote collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social work or related field

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW) certification
• First Aid and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiZulu: Basic
