Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Tax Consultant to join our skilled team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of South African taxation laws and will be responsible for assisting clients with their tax compliance and planning needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret tax regulations and legislation for clients.
• Prepare and present tax training sessions for clients.
• Draft comprehensive tax reports and documentation.
• Monitor clients' tax positions and ensure compliance.
• Customize tax solutions based on client needs and objectives.
• Engage with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Maintain accurate and organized tax records for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Law
• Professional qualification in tax (e.g., CTA or equivalent) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in tax consultancy.

Technical Skills

• Income Tax
• Value Added Tax (VAT)

• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)
• SAIT Membership

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
