Responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
• Develop individual treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Administer anaesthesia and perform dental procedures.
• Provide preventative care and education to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care.
• Manage dental emergencies in accordance with protocols.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Specialization in Orthodontics or Oral Surgery is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical dental practice preferred

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
