Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at Animal Health Solutions, you will undertake surgical procedures, conduct thorough examinations, prescribe treatment, and educate pet owners on animal health. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of patients.
• Conduct surgery and handle pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, infections, and injuries.
• Educate pet owners on treatments and preventative care.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and assistants.
• Remain current on veterinary medicine advancements.
• Engage in community outreach and educational events.
• Handle administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling.
• Provide support in inventory management and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• BVSc degree or equivalent
• Additional certifications in veterinary medicine are a plus

Experience

• 5 years or more in clinical practice
