Innovative Engineering Solutions is looking for a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to contribute to exciting engineering projects in Johannesburg. You'll work closely with other engineers to design specifications, analyze data, and improve existing systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop specifications and procedures for mechanical design.
• Analyze existing systems for enhancement opportunities.
• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date engineering knowledge through continuous learning.
• Contribute to safety audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required, Master's preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product development in mechanical engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Project management
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with sustainability practices: Knowledge of eco-friendly materials and sustainable practices in engineering.
• Proven experience in project leadership: Demonstrated capability in leading engineering projects.
