Join our dynamic consultancy team as a Tax Consultant. This role requires a deep understanding of South African tax regulations and a proactive approach to help clients manage their tax obligations effectively. You will be instrumental in providing insights that help shape financial strategies for diverse clientele ranging from small businesses to large corporations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients' financial situations and tax statuses.
• Prepare and review tax returns ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Stay updated on changes to tax legislation and their potential impact on clients.
• Assist clients with audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Create and implement tax compliance programs.
• Educate clients on tax implications and provide practical solutions.
• Develop financial management strategies that align with clients' objectives.
• Collaborate with other consultants to provide comprehensive financial services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualification in taxation (e.g., CTA) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax consultancy or accounting
