Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events that create memorable experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services with precision and an eye for detail.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow up with pet owners.
• Utilise grooming products that align with industry standards for pet care.
• Maintain logs of pets groomed and any notes on their health or behaviour.
• Assist with pet bathing for cleanliness and hygiene.
• Participate in community outreach events to promote the grooming services offered.
• Contribute to a positive team culture through collaboration and support.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Animal Care or Grooming is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pet grooming

Technical Skills

• Grooming Techniques
• Animal Handling

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification
• Grooming Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Training in pet behaviour: Understanding of pet behaviour to facilitate better grooming experiences.
• Experience in mobile grooming services: Familiarity with grooming in a mobile setup for client convenience.
