Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Event Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. In this role, you will oversee the planning and execution of a variety of events, ensuring every detail is perfect and aligned with our clients' vision. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, creativity, and a knack for managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage all aspects of events, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
• Assist in selecting venues and negotiating contracts.
• Work closely with creative teams to develop event themes and branding.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to access the success of each event.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Create event proposal presentations for potential clients.
• Monitor industry trends to identify new event ideas and opportunities.
• Supervise event setup, ensuring all aspects align with the client’s vision.
• Prepare and manage post-event reports and budgets.
• Ensure all events comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in event planning or a related field

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in digital event planning: Experience in planning online or hybrid events is a plus.
