Job Description

As a Sales Associate, you will be pivotal in building relationships with customers in Cape Town. Your enthusiasm and commitment to providing excellent service will drive sales and help us grow our market presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of product offerings to assist customers effectively.
• Proactively seek out new sales opportunities within the customer base.
• Contribute to a positive shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service.
• Assist in training new staff members and share best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve sales strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Engage in ongoing training to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Sales or Marketing is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of proven sales experience in retail.

Technical Skills

• Retail Operations
• Point of Sale Systems

• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software: Familiarity with CRM tools to manage customer interactions.
