Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing healthcare advice, and supporting clients with their healthcare needs. This role is integral to maintaining compliance with health regulations and implementing best practices in pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Provide advice and information on prescribed medications and health topics.
• Conduct health screenings and immunizations as required.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and oversee inventory management.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Assist in pharmacy operations and administration where needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in community pharmacy.

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacy

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
