We are actively seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, with an emphasis on process optimization and efficiency improvements. You will play a vital role in enhancing our engineering processes while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to test new mechanical processes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with team members.
• Provide training and guidance to junior engineers on mechanical processes.
• Assess and mitigate mechanical risks in design and implementation phases.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and upgrades on mechanical systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical process engineering

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
