Join our dynamic team as a Structural Engineer where you will design and oversee projects that define the structural landscape of Johannesburg. Your role will encompass various aspects of structural analysis, design, and implementation, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of safety and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze engineering designs using CAD software.
• Evaluate project feasibility and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and calculations.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage project documentation.
• Liaise with contractors and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present design proposals to stakeholders and implement feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of practical experience in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• ETABS
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Collaboration

Certifications

• International Society of Structural Engineers (IStructE) membership is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in advanced structural analysis techniques: Experience using nonlinear analysis methods and software tools.
• Experience with 3D finite element analysis: Hands-on experience using software like ANSYS and ABAQUS.
