Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will manage a team and ensure the efficient handling of inventory while optimizing all warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Monitor the performance of the warehouse team and provide feedback.
• Manage the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Establish and implement best practices for inventory management.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of orders being processed.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and efficiency.
• Drive initiatives to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Build relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Participate in strategic planning for warehouse operations.
• Address and resolve operational challenges promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Business Administration or related field
• Relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations management

• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Automated Warehouse Systems: Familiarity with technologies such as RFID and robotics in warehouses.
